High School Fresh-Fish
I started High School. And it's just what it is, school. There's nothing special about it except kids wear too much make up and are SO much taller. Other than that, it's mostly full of freshman and sophmores as well as hot headed higher classmen who apparently have no idea what it's like to be a freshman and or are just too cool to remember. But don't get me wrong th aren't ALL bad, I actually have a lot of Junior and Senior friends. And they're not intimidating, just a little rude at times.
My first day of High School was ok, the only downer was I had forgotten where I had put my money for lunch, so I was pretty hungery when I got home. The second day wasn't great either. I was running late for the bus and it was raining -_-. So I was leaving my house and a neighbor who i don't know to well was going to get her mail, well there was puddles in potholes everywhere. I thought I had gotten enough out of her way, but i'm guessing her brakes didn't work cause she didn't slow down. You can only guess what happens next. Yeah, she speed through a big puddle and got my legs soaked. But don't worry folks! It turns out "ok"!
Today was a really good day! I was on time to the bus, wasn't raining, got to eat lunch, and am talking to a lot more kids which makes school so much easier! It's not fun getting up early but it's great getting out earlier than a lot of other schools. I don't have any homework so far which actually annoys me for reasons that i dont know. Mom gets Homework though, a ton of paperwork WOOOOOOOH! My favorite class so far is my horticuluture class, which has to do with plants and flowers. Ms. Collensworth is my teacher, who is also my favorite of all my classes. My classes are:
Block 1- Keyboard\word processing
Block 2- Health
Block 3- Earth Science
Block 4- Horticulutre
After school I usually go for a walk or bike rides with my friends and just plain old hang out. I also like to watch Tv or laze around or... ya that's it. I know I promised y'all pictures but with my new computer I am too tired/lazy to figure it out at the moment, so instead you can check them out on my mom's Facebook! If I missed something than just ask and I can answer it in my next blog! Have a great rest of tonight and a fantastic Friday tomorrow!

Moives, Movies, Movies!
Yesterday was dad and I's date day. We watched Rising of The Planet Apes(2011). Of course he's seen the 1960's Planet of the Apes, but I just took my knowledge of dad's summary when he quizzed me before watching the newer one. I passed. I do not believe in watching movies from the 60's - 80's except for Tron, which was the only exception. Back to the Ape's, My dad and I thouroughly enjoyed this movie, we were both on the same page about the story line, and it was just a good movie altogether. What made it even better was that my mother thought that towaards the end, the Apes were trying to turn the human's into Apes. Mom's always good for a laugh.
While on the topic of great movies, a couple of weeks ago me and dad got our marvel fix! As you all know dad and I are really big big big big marvel comics geeks. So you can only guess what movie we went to see on the big screen. The Amazing Spider-man! And the title does not lie! It was a great movie! The toby Maquire Spider-man series was great, but this new movie stuck more to Stan-Lee's comics. This movie included the web shooters which was how it was written in the comics instead of organic webbing. The movie showed more of Peter Parker's amazing knowledge of science, as well as Qwen Stacy who was Peter's first love, which most people get confused by because Mary Jane is much more popular. Of course on the way to the movies we had to explain the basics to mom who would forget eveything we told her from our driveway to the theater's parking lot. Her response:
"Does it really matter?" her face had this, "Can I just go watch the movie without all the backstory?" look.
My dad and I have this aweful little habbit when we watch marvel movies. If the directors throw in details from the comics into their movie, dad and I have to talk about it as soon as we see it. Even if we're in the theaters or not. We've never been yelled at thank goodness, but my goodness, there have been times were we are laughing or talking about a scene that just happened. Though most of the people in that room are marvel geeks like us. One time we went and saw The Avengers (one of Dad's favorites) and there was laughter over fighting scenes, or when hulk says, "hilk smash". And of course the only reason they are laughing is because it was in the comics. I've never heard my dad laugh in a movie theater but now he does! I remember the first time I heard him was at The Avengers. Then The Amazing Spider-man. (we watched Captian America at home.) He has a lot of fun at those moives and so do I!
My dad and I aren't fans of DC, but we do appreciate Bat Man, because he is the only superhero in DC who doesn't have super powers. That's it. My dad grew up with Spider-man comics while using his Captian America trash can lid to fight off bad guys with his best friend, the black falcon (who's name is Greg). While I grew up with the X-men, Spider-man, Iron Man, and Captain America. When I was old enough to start watching pg-13's my knowlege of marvel grew bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger and... well you all get the point. Now my dad and I talk about a lot more super-heros. Like Daredevil, Dr.Strange, Deadpool, Ms. Marvel, and all the others which I will spare all of you.
I could probably write a book about me, my dad, and marvel, but I think i'll hold off on that and just say: Have a great week everybody!

They're Back!
Yesterday was the third Friday of the month. Which means that youth group was at Paster Ken's house. The only thing missing from his house for a month was him and the rest of the youth group kids. They were all on a missions trip in Africa. They had a full day on the the plane and a whole new time zone. Their outcome was over 1000 people became followers of Christ.
Cindy even told us a story of her own experience with one of the kids in Africa. he was a older boy, in his mid teens. When Cindy first meet him he had burned hands. He told her that he had fallen asleep next to a fire place and his hands got into the ashes that were still hot from a couple hours before. She didn't have medicine the first day but she told him she would bring him some the next along with some ibuprofen as well. When she went to bed she told she had been thinking of an event that really changed her. A couple of years ago Cindy worked in the Medical Feild. She was one of the people on a paramedics. One day her team was told that it would be a "stand by" until the end of their shifts. A couple of men where working on some power lines. But then it turned into an emergency. The man who was at the top his ladder made the wrong move and the wires started sparking. By the time Cindy's crew had gotten the call and arrive, the man was still on the ladder but he was burning. He had help to get him down and to extinguish the fire on his body. He was horribly burned. In the ambulance the man said something about heaven. Cindy at the time was just introduced to her fait in God, but she wishes she had known more so she could tell that man about Jesus and how he could've been saved that night before he died. This was a hard story for Cindy to tell because she felt like she could've done something. Now she though, well God is giving me this chance to help this boy in Africa. She had time to treat his hands but she had to write her story in a letter to the kid, she also told him more about Jesus and having a relationship wit God and all the other good stuff.
This trip really changed a lot of the leaders and their kid's lives. The kids from the youth group learned dances and songs for the kids, they played with them and talked to them. They said it was really sad, but they had a lot of fun as well. Total Impact is planning to go again next year.

2nd Day in a Row!
Yes folks, I have sucessfully set aside blogging time for another New England day. I just finished not listening to my dad talk about something having to do with binoculars. This morning I vaccuumed and unloaded the dishwasher for my mom. For BOTH parents, I cleaned my room! I don't like it but it makes my mom & dad happy.
Yesterday my mom and I went to the Walpole scoop shop. Best Ice cream shop I've been to. I had a Mocha chocolate ice cream with cookie dough bits. For anyone who is curious, cookie dough isn't the best topping for mocha ice cream. Something like snickers or pretzels or anything salty would go better, my leftovers are in the fridge right now, I know your all interested in my ice cream's life as well. My mom had a Carmel cashew chip with one of my cookie dough bits on top. How generous of me. It was an extremely fun mother-daughter day. Hopefully we can take dad their soon. And not just because I want to try their other treats! ;)
That's all for now. Have a Great Day everyone!

No, We Didn't Die.
Have no fear West Coast dwellers & New England folks, The Krulish Klan is still alive and healthy! Truth is, we're just lazy when it comes to blogs. Sometimes it just takes awhile to get inspiration, or to get news-worthy news. Other times we just don't think to update stuff. And of course when we do get around to updating the blog it's enough time for someone to grow up and graduate. That's also why we like to come up with excuses and stories to amuse our followers. Like how it's illegal to blog during certain months,(we don't always feel like paying off a fine). Or maybe we just had such a busy week with our sisters, sitting on the couch doing nothing! Believe me, it's hard work listening a 17 (almost 18 on August 23, yes Megan I remembered) and a 19 year old talk about what "big events" they missed in 3 weeks with their friends. City people... I thought they'd faint when they heard the nearest Starbucks is about 45 minutes away. Pictures of their trip are on Katherine's Facebook.
Something exciting? California's little Kayla Dean is entering High School on August 27th, Freshman Orientation Day. I'm excited to see what kind of clubs there are and am thinking about trying out for softball. I had tried out for volleyball but they cut me from the team which was disappointing because I had worked extremely hard. But I'm determined to look into new things. I think as a new freshman I got a pretty good start. I've been able to look around the school and get familiar with my classrooms. I was blessed to receive all the classes I signed up for. And some great parents to buy me clothes and supplies for the school year which is what dad and I did last Sunday. A fact about the Krulishs'. Don't take us to a store with rolly chairs, 'cause we like to "try out" the rolly chairs. We make "scenes" and entertainment for the other shoppers. But I don't get embarrassed, to me, if I can have a good time in any store and be goofy or say silly things to or with my parents then 1. I have an awesome relationship with my parents. And 2. I know it's a good day. One day me and mom went to Walmart and we were in the cosmetics isle. we'd split up while I got my things and she got hers. Well I always get done before her so I help her with her list. Of course half the things she needs I've never heard of or have no clue where they are. So I'd go back and forth between her and isles. She knew I wanted to help but she knew I didn't know where her things were. So guess what she did? In every cosmetic section there's this weird foot therapy machine that tells you what kind of foot you have and where you put most of your weight on your foot that makes it so uncomfortable. So mom drove her cart straight to that machine.
"Amuse yourself with this".
"Mom are you serious?".
"You can see what kind of foot you have while I get my things and guess how many other feet have been on there."
"mom, that's disgusting."
"I'll be back."
And that's what I did, I amused myself with the silly foot therapy until mom was done. It thought it quite silly being a 14 year old girl measuring what part of my foot has pain. Which by the way is on the right ball of my foot where a blister is enjoying itself. Stupid blister.
Well that's all the time I have for today, I'll tell more stories another day. Have a wonderful week!
Love, Kayla
p.s., A few "first day of school" pictures will be updated during my first week of school, they will also be on my mother's Facebook! Just something for y'all to look forward to!

What a Handfull...
Well it was on Tuesday of last week that my Uncle Chris and Aunt Kathy arrived in quaint little New Hampshire. So far, we've given them many tours and buttered them with hours of family time. Today I took them to Fort no. 4. Since I work there, my family was able to go in for free! After we toured the Fort dad bought a Fort # 4 folktale book that I wanted to read to mom. I think it'll be cheesy since they're ghost, legend, and scary stories from the mid 1700's. While our family visitors are here we've been enjoying every moment, they even attended dad's church service. Not that they had much choice considering it was in the iving room, but they enjoyed it. I also have been recieving much overdue teasing from my goofy uncle. But I've mature... Now my sarcasim skills are off the charts. I thank my Dad. Onto a newer subject: Mom. I know her eyes must be widening seeing i'm writing about her, but she does ask why I write about dad and not her so much. Well even though it's not mother's day, I do have compliments and facts about her. 1. She has a beautiful heart and faith in the Lord. 2. She adopted me. 3. She homeschooled me for 5 years. 4. She hasn't kicked me out of the house the times when I've been a pest. 5. She's becoming more of a softy. 6. She's mature the times dad isn't. 7. She's my momma, and I love her a lot. I've been so excited and axious for my sisters to come out, in my mind I'm jumping around like a little kid, while on the outside I try to keep my cool. I just can't wait! Hope all you West Coast people have a good afternoon! Night Everyone!

Happy Daddy's Day Dad!
YAAAY! It's Father's day! And I am extremely blessed to have a fantastic, awesome, awe-inspiring, magnificent, wonderful, amazing, and all those other big words, of a dad. My dad is by far my favorite guy in the world. He loves the Lord with all his heart, he's a redneck (oh jeez), and an awesome family man. He my favorite teacher, until he says something I don't like hearing. I can talk to him about anything and he gives me some great and reasonable advice. My favorite thing about him is that he's an awesome listener, never interupts me, and only gives me advice when I'm looking for it. I love my dad because he's shown a tremedous amount of love for me. He brought me into his family. Little fact for y'all, mom and dad were thinking about adopting a baby boy (gasp)! But thankfully they fell in love with and adopted a little ginger girl instead. I thank my over dosage of cuteness. Now 13 years latter I'm fourteen years old never guessing that my favorite guy would drag me to redneck central, New Hampshire. He gave me the biggest curve ball of my life, and I've had strikes as well as home runs. He's helped me so much, through school, family, and all the other little things that happens to teens. Some kids have dads that put out fires or arrest bad guys, but to me, my dad doesn't have to be this big star super hero. My dad talks about Marvel superheros with me, we play video games, we talk about guns and that Ducati he's going to let me buy... maybe. We go on dates, he buys me fast food, I insult his blue cargo pants, we tease mom, I let him steal my food sometimes, we talk about archery and God and how he's going to invent floating targets when he arrives to heaven. I beg him to let me go to jail: to see his prisoners, he's working on getting me in the office. My dad is the one who taught me to ride my bike, taught me to throw a frisbee and baseball, I picked up sarcasim and humor from him. I definetly do no follow his fashion habbits, one time he bought me some green cargo shorts... ya i never wear them :) nice try dad. To me, a heroic father is a man who supports and loves his kids and family. And that's exactly what my dad does. Happy Father's Day Dad! I love you with all my heart!
p.s. Yes, rice crispy's are my present to him :)
